NEWSWATCH: And the circus continues... the SABC continues to make news instead of reporting it, now that ICASA has been ordered to re-open a 2006 probe into political interference and alleged blacklisting of some commentators, apparently courtesy of a certain Snuki Zikalala, reports News24.com, Legalbrief Africa and Business Day.

Legalbrief Africa: SABC politically manipulated news - judge... Judge CJ (Neels) Claassen hammered ICASA for what he politely described as 'flawed reasoning' and also said that the SABC had violated its licence conditions and compounded that with a "dishonest attempt" to cover it all up. Surprise, surprise.
Business Day: Judge finds SABC guilty of distorting news, lying... The ruling is ammunition to critics of the SABC and the way it handles political news - they maintain that national broadcaster is anything but unbiased, and little more than a government mouthpiece - or whatever faction that happens to be on top in the ANC.
