Is Multichoice ripping us off?
I love DSTV and think it's the best thing to have happened to TV in a very long long time. However, I have beef with how Multichoice is always milking us for our money.
When we changed from compact to full bouquet - all it took was one phone call and viola it was done but when I wanted to change to PVR I had to buy a new decoder for about R2500, and a double LNB cable for R300. You can't event trade your old decoder in for somekind of discount voucher or something.
Now they are moving to HD and have a new HD decoder and to get that you give/sell your old decoder and get a new one which will probably require its own LNB etc. is they for real?? I honestly think Multichoice is ripping us off and we have to stand up to them and say No! yes, we want to have all the trappings that come with technology but we shouldn't be robbed for it.
This is over and above our monthly installments. Do you guys agree?
