As of Monday, 16 April 2007, current afternoon drive sports presenter Xola Ntshinga began hosting Talk Radio 702‘s midweek 4am – 6am show, to serve as a warm-up to the breakfast shows on CapeTalk and 702. “It will include added features such as up-to-date news, sport, some of the best of 702 programming, issues of the day, and calls from listeners,” says station manager Pheladi Gwangwa. Douglas Kruger will also be hosting an early morning breakfast show on Talk Radio and CapeTalk on Saturday mornings, 4am - 7am, and another new appointment is sports presenter Cindy Grota, who will be taking over afternoon sport.
