This operatic masterpiece, previously suppressed in 19th-century Italy due to censorship, has recently been rediscovered in its entirety.
Opera UCT students, selected from a pool of three global companies, will have the unprecedented opportunity to bring this lost gem to life in its first-ever full staging. What adds to the excitement is the collaboration with an international producer and costume director, providing students with a unique and enriching experience.
