A Senior Marketing Professional with almost 25 years experience in marketing - ranging from Advertising, through marketing Commodity Chemicals to Financial Services and currently Business Education.

My strengths include considerable insight into consumer behavior, an excellent academic record and strong leadership skills. I have the capability to think both strategically and tactically, resulting in a well thought-out marketing approach and techniques which have demonstrably added to my companies' bottom lines. Having moved between dramatically different industries, I have a proven ability to adapt marketing fundamentals to the specifics of individual businesses. I have developed new brands as well as repositioned existing brands very successfully. I am a talented presenter and spokesperson, and I am the founding Director of a sales and marketing company which represents Rio Tinto Minerals (part of one of the world's largest mining companies) in Southern Africa.
I am currently Marketing Director at GIBS - South Africa's largest and highest ranked business school. I remain a Director of Chemical and General (Pty) Ltd.
There are few Marketers in South Africa who can claim my wide-ranging experience and qualifications. I am committed to driving professionalism within marketing and I sit on the Board of the Marketing Association of South Africa and was one of the first marketers in South Africa to be awarded the Chartered Marketer professional designation.
