Our premium client in the automotive industry, is on the lookout for a talented and motivated auto electrician to join their dynamic team.
 
Duties and responsibilities:

• Diagnose electrical issues in diesel trucks.
• Repair wiring harnesses and electrical connections.
• Test and replace faulty starters and alternators.
• Troubleshoot problems with lighting systems.
• Repair or replace malfunctioning batteries.
• Ensure proper functioning of fuel injection systems.
• Inspect and repair electronic control modules. (ECMs)
• Install and maintain auxiliary electrical components, such as GPS systems or entertainment units.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
• Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

• A relevant qualification in automotive mechanics or diesel technology from a recognised institution.
• Prior experience in premium brands.
• Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues.
• Knowledge of diesel engine systems, including fuel injection, emission control systems, and electronic control modules.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Any additional certifications or training related to diesel technology or automotive mechanics would be advantageous.
