As we expand our projects, we are seeking a talented project manager to lead and oversee the successful execution of chatbot development initiatives.

Role overview

As a project manager at Digify Africa you will play a critical role in planning, executing, and delivering projects, including WhatsApp bots and other digital projects for our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams (content, tech, business development) to meet
project objectives and ensure clients’ needs are fulfilled.

Key responsibilities:

• Project planning: Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and requirements for WhatsApp bot development.
• Project execution: Lead project teams, allocate resources, and ensure the timely and successful completion of bot development projects.
• Communication with HCS provide regular updates on project progress, addressing inquiries, and managing expectations.
• Close collaboration with content manager: liaising between clients and content production teams to ensure timely execution
• Budget and risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and obstacles, ensuring projects stay on track and within budget.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including timelines and technical specifications.
• Stakeholder collaboration: Foster collaboration among design, development, technical partners and testing teams to ensure cohesive project execution.
• Client training: Provide clients with training and documentation on how to use and maintain WhatsApp bots.
• Post-Project Evaluation: Conduct post-project evaluations to assess bot performance, gather client feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
• Business development: assist the CEO and head of client services with the process of securing and onboarding new clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.
• Proven experience in project management
• 4-6 years of experience
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.

• Good Communicator - You’ll be working remotely and mostly be your own boss. We need to trust you’re doing your job, and good communication will help with this

• Curious - We want you to chat with our team and learners and help find useful insights we can act upon
• Report Creation - Presentation creation will help immensely.
• Google Workplace - Proficiency in Google Docs is a must-have.
