New Jungle Oats ad out

TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris goes live today 1 July 2011, with a new Jungle Oats ad that follows a long tradition of the brand's commercials epitomising goodness, energy and achievement. It moves away from the previous soccer theme to refocus on the South African home.

The commercial, aimed at the key winter consumption period, features a series of commercials using children to demonstrate achievement. The well loved "boxer" and "swimmer" ads, which flighted around 2007/08, developed significant brand interest and this latest commercial aims to provide a modern take on a timeless theme 'Children aspiring to reach the stars - and the importance of breakfast!'

Damon Stapleton, TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris ECD, says, "The brand is a South African icon and has produced some great campaigns over the years. I mean who will ever forget Flipper Fourie?

"We have partnered with the company for a number of years and being able to continue to work with the brand and to produce a new campaign, which will hopefully also become part of South African popular culture, is very exciting."
