Week 44's rulings from ASA
The Advertising Standards Authority of South Africa (ASA) has issued the rulings for week 44, dated 1-5 November 2010: Aquila Private Game Reserve/ Fairy Glen Private Game Reserve (breach allegation dismissed); Keynote Trading & Investment/ Crosscare (upheld); Vodacom/ A Read (no sanctions imposed on respondent at this time; Weinsure/ V van Meyeren (upheld); Ibuyeco/ Nedbank (voluntary undertaking); Hoodia Slender Gel/ Dr HA Steinman (sanctioned; respondent instructed to publish summarised version of ruling in Vrouekeur magazine, at respondent's cost); and Vodacom/ A Read (ruling of 3 August 2010 overturned, respondent may continue using reference to "broadband" in its advertising).
