Ciro Alliances, the South African distributor of the Italian brand Lavazza, recently launched what is reported to be the first-ever Lavazza-accredited Barista Training Centre in Africa. The centre will provide training – based on international research, knowledge and 100 years of Italian espresso-making heritage – to not only professionals within the coffee industry but also to journalists and consumers who are interested in learning more about coffee.
