Daily Afrikaans newspaper Beeld is reporting a 2.8% increase in circulation, with average daily sales between April and June 2006 growing by 2 846 issues to an ABC-audited figure of 105 114. On average, it sold 7 166 more newspapers on Saturdays than it did over the same period last year.
