IHCL promotes Mark Wernich

Indian Hotels Company Limited has promoted Mark Wernich to the role of cluster general manager. Wernich now manages Taj Pamodzi, Lusaka along with Taj Cape Town.

In his new role, Wernich provides support in identifying suitable business development opportunities in Africa. The appointment is a strategic move to introduce Taj Group synergy in Africa.

Wernich says of his appointment: "I'm thrilled to be able to build the Taj legacy and brand further in this region and I thank the team at Taj Cape Town behind me; they are exceptional and I'm so proud of what we've achieved - not only in terms of our successful refurbishments and awards but in our overall service and hospitality."
