Agbiz elects Lukeshni Chetty as second deputy chairperson

Lukeshni Chetty has been elected as the second deputy chairperson of Agbiz.

Her appointment was confirmed at the Agbiz Annual General Meeting on 16 April 2025 in Pretoria.

She will serve alongside deputy chairperson Antois van der Westhuizen and contribute to the organisation’s strategic direction.

Chetty brings experience from across the agri-value chain and in leading member organisations. She is currently the general manager of Sansor and has previously worked as deputy director for GMO Research and Monitoring at Sanbi.
